Jodangs
Carved by the groom for the bride, these wedding chests can be primitive and simple or elaborately carved, depending on the wealth and status of the groom. Filled with gifts for the bride, a bamboo pole is placed through the holes on each end and then paraded in the wedding ceremony. These wonderful expressions of culture make great storage pieces and can be used at the end of a bed, as a bench under a window or even as a coffee table. Individual and unique.
